2015 Review Crew Favorites (Blue Ribbon Awards)

We have officially completed our first year on the Schoolhouse Review Crew! Amber and I had an immensely enjoyable time this year trying out curriculum and products we would never have thought to consider. We have been talking about our favorites for the past couple of weeks, and it has been hard to decide.

2015 Schoolhouse Review Crew Blue Ribbon Awards

Last week the members of the Review Crew voted in the Blue Ribbon Awards to select our favorite review items from the year in numerous categories. You can view the final results on the Review Crew blog.  Below are how Amber and I chose to vote in the majority of the categories (some did not apply to us), with links to the review.

I hope you enjoy this look back at the review year!

**Teen's Choice (Amber's Choice) - Dig-It! Games (Mayan Mysteries)
**All Around Crew Favorite (My Choice) - Writing with Sharon Watson: Illuminating Literature

Some of Amber's selections were quite a surprise for me. I had no idea that Mayan Mysteries held such a special place in Amber's heart. Nor did I ever expect a biography of George Washington to be one of Amber's favorite items all year long!

We waffled back and forth about voting in the Favorite Middle School Product or the Favorite High School Product categories since Amber qualified for both. In the end, Amber decided she loved Star Toaster: Orphs of the Woodlands better than any of the high school specific products, so we voted in the middle school category.

We're looking forward to another Crew year coming up and can't wait to tell you about them all!
